It's not a map thingy like waves. It's like, just check it out and trip out! , this app is a must for a million reasons for you and your loved ones. It's free, but they also have a paid feature that literally guards you until you get to a safe home or business. Get the free version. You know when you heard choppers or police sirens, but don't know why? This app lets you see why and what. Also, you can upload instantly anything you see! oh this is at Apple Store lol no affiliation or profit for posting it. Got it from Frobes tech section. Example: Just now I get a beep that says a car overturned on 101 Freeway and that a man is pointing a gun at the accident. WTF? In app there, it is right there at 2:00 am. Wow. On Sunday, I ran it after game LOL I knew and saw vids of people in downtown LA getting saucy haha before news had it.
I have the best police scanners. But since I have no reason to listen. I feel like I know it sounds stupid, but I feel like I am interfering and feel scummy for listening to brave men and women desperately trying to save lives. But many love the scanner. This app Citizen is like you are right there.!
Why this app hit me hard. Maybe 30 years or so around 8-9 am heading on south to la court. We all come to a screech, some cars hit others. But we all come out to see across the freeway chain fence. Is a woman's headless body on freeway floor. Her head is several feet away from her red head, and her neck is like a chicken neck flap. OMG the memory. She jumped, I figured no car accident, as I looked up at overpass and all up there are looking over the side and freaking. Except one mof. He's leaning across a white truck with dark glasses. Looking at us all on Freeway stopped. The highway patrol was coming through an emergency lane, moving us along. When I got home that night, I called the cops for that area. A detective told me it was jumper and thanks for the info on MOF standing. That incident never hit the news that day or after. This app would have caught the MOF photo while you filmed the overpass. There was no blood on the lady or on freeway floor. I bet that white truck was refrigerated truck or just a truck. That has bothered me for years. to all law enforcement, fire men, women, first responders and military folks. Wow, thank you for all the never talked about life altering selfless acts you do for us. Wow God granted me three gifts, two kids and a chance to be born an American.
