Hey everyone,

I like to consider myself a Jack of all Trades (only because of ADHD).

Cigars

I have gotten into cigars very heavily in the past few months, my new favorite lately is a Jake Wyatt: Herbert Spencer Robusto. I have a Cohiba Black sitting in my humidor for my wedding in December. So my best friend is flying in from the UK to be my best man and does not partake in cigars (or anything remotely illicit). Any body have any good recommendations for a entry level, easy cigar for him?

Bourbon

This love started very early. In my early 20s in the military, every time I would travel to Vegas, I would grab a bottle of JD Sinatra (not the select cause E-5 pay). There is a special place in my heart for JD Single Barrel and have recently discovered JD SB Coy Hill; I need to taste it once. Any rare bourbons that anyone has had that you know you'll never have again?

Watches

My retirement goal watch is an IWC Portfoino and my career goal (Executive at Boeing) watch is a Breitling for sure, just haven't picked yet. Any watch folks out here?

Only thing I wanna smoke is blunts. Pretty sure I've had a cohiba years ago but it's not my thing.

I'd definitely like to try more high end bourbon sometime but anything higher quality than gentleman jack is wasted on me. Guess that's technically not bourbon anyways.

Occasional cigar. Love a Cohiba. Brought some back from Cuba that were tasty. (Paired with some 7yo Havana club rum).
Now it’s just the occasional Camacho Connecticut.

But I’m with JMonty…blunts.

Bourbon; on the shelf right now. Four Roses small batch select, Russell reserve 10 year, mitchners straight rye.

Watch: Apple Watch 3

Something like this https://www.jrcigars.com/item/macanudo/miniatures/MAM.html is a good choice. That way he doesnt feel bad about not finishing a larger cigar or green from trying to finish the larger cigar.

Bourbon. Four Roses during the week. Then switch between Elijah Craig/Woodford/Angels Envy during the weekend.

Never got the watch bug.
Honestly, good on you the watch bug. I have at least $3k in watches now (no where near the high ends though). Good choices on bourbon, I went to the Four Roses distillery on my way home to NC from St Louis. It's was great, but I got a bottle of Blanton's for my wedding and I love rye also (Templeton Cask Strength)

The cigar, good idea. I have some smaller padrons that I personally don't think are too harsh. I'll do some more research.

See you on RC1!

I like that size. Acid makes one that size, C-Note. It’s a regular for me during the summer time. Also like the Acid Blondies.

Ah, a refined man. Four Roses is good and Angels Envy is one of my favorites. Taken to Tin Cup and Breckenridge lately. Funny enough, TX to me is a relatively cheap but really good option which I always have on hand.

The smaller Padrons are a great idea. One of my favorites for a shorter, mild and tasty smoke. You are a good friend for offering a fine cigar like that.

I don't smoke a lot of cigars, but I smoke American Spirit blue. RYO is a different game with good tobacco. Montecristo Classic Mini cigarillos are a good change from cigarette tobacco.

Basil Hayden for bourbon is all around good. Bulleit or similar when I want something with more kick. Not a fan of generic/popular Canadian whiskeys other than Canadian Club. Irish whiskey is only good in coffee or whiskey soda's.

I've had a Galaxy Smartwatch 3 for a couple years that I really like. It's the titanium model. It talks to me underwater.

I never really tried bourbon myself, I should probably try it. I am a big fan of cognac however, I love myself a good Remy Martin. My favourite drink is probably one I got for my father a few years back A Jamaican rum from Appleton estate. I do like myself a cigar but I am not very familiar with any brands.
It's funny you start about watches, I started "collecting" at the start of covid and recently ordered my crown piece a Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 46 with a brown leather strap. I probably should have spent the money on something more useful.
