Can anybody help me ( HDD )

For the past 25 year , i had never had that kind problem .

Recently July and i clean from A-Z on my pc case and to clean , when i done and putting it back and bootup . All the sudden it slow loading every things so i had to wait for like 5 to 10 min to login Then i saw one HDD ( use to be gaming ) .Sometime it show 500 Gb or None , I really need it picture for my older brother .

I try some free software and it working but loading slow/long and while scan or any kind to fix ( it will just freeze few min ,whenever i touch it and will be freeze till i close it by task manager .

I did try recovery data but only music and my phone root is working , the rest is RAW :( .


Now i am using EaseUS to test the bad sectors ( it take long time ( only 27 % on 80 Hours running and leave is 33271 hour ( wtf ) /

My question is - can i use recovery only picture without RAW or the disk cloning software will work ? Which free one cause i have never need it till that sht problem just to happen ...

That's the risk of having all of your stuff in only one place. Most all of us are guilty of it, but as they say "If your data isn't in at least 3 places, it doesn't exist". Only things you can really do is hope the software tool works. Otherwise if the drive's contents are really valuable, it's upwards of $300+ for a hardware-level recovery.
 
sometimes you can switch the logical board of the hdd, and try to recover(some cases the entire hdd) the data... model of the hdd your using??brand??

Yeah , i could but i have the same one and it at my young bro that i sold him . till then i told him whenever he buy ssd another one so i take it back or i can make a zip of itself info hdd .

FIRST thing. Have you tried switching SATA ports and or the SATA cables around?

Disconnect all other SATA drives including CD/DVD drives.

Yeah , everything i try that first thing / no luck .

i try to make or change letter but it grey out and again it still Initialize so it already have mbr .

My guess is there no hdd system volume information that i need to restore .
 
I know this sounds crazy but if it is a mechanical HDD put it a ziplock bag then put it in the freezer for 4 or more hours. When it is nice and cold hook it back up and you could get 5 or so min to copy stuff off of it

i Have heard about it But i don't think it good idea even when it cold and put back on ( will damage when it getting warmer or hot ) .. 5 min won't have time to find what i need LOL.

It;s not dead hdd and it running but only problem is no Letter on it ( was G ) / last time i try to open but said something like " Access is denied' " / the day before i can get in but next day ..

At least i will try software for now .

I will find a way even my HHD is not dead . the Smart said it good health than few other software ( i will trust what SmArT say :adoration:

u can.... but the issue still is the logical board of that hdd... music is the treasure of the pc workd, i dunno what i could do if i lost it
