Banned?

I got banned today for no good reason....I was finally getting the best of the jets and helicoptors with the AA and got banned. What are we to do.....just sit out in the open and be big old targets? Did I shoot down one of the admins? I'd like to know why I was banned.

if you were votebanned, your peers did it and they should have given you a reason.
actually, i just looked and the reason was "AA Camping". so apparently you suck in the AA and did not move out to engage the enemy. I fully support votebanning AA players that wont move close to objective C. that is where you need to be in the AA or your team suffers.
that said, we only have a 24 hour ban on votebans so you will be good tomorrow.

I checked, it was a vote ban by the players for camping in the AA. If you were camping by your base thats probably why

i responded to your question on the other thread, but you were vote banned by your team mates for AA camping. i support and encourage banning for that reason.
The AA should be near objective C. if your in the base you will get vote banned and if not, i would admin kill you for it because it hurts your team when you play back. AA should be getting around 40 kills a game and you can not do that when you camp.
but, voteban is only a 24 hour ban so you can get back in later today. just don't camp.

I've been blown to bits in the AA hundreds of times....the only way to be able to get the jets and Helos is to hide under a bridge....so I'm banned for getting better??? How about those jet guys....they come in for a bombing run and hide up in the sky....how about banning some of them? The AA is a weak vehicle and should be given the opportunity to find an angle to get those jets.....seems to me that I finally found a way to beat them and they were poor losers.

Believe me we have banned many jet whores, you need to move up and away from spawn. Stay around tanks so they can protect you. its only a 24 hour ban.

Feel free to start a voteban on jet whores... if enough of your team mates agree, the player is gone for 24 hours. Anyone can start one and to voteban someone, type this command:
!voteban <playername> <reason>
I am not the best AA player but i do have almost 10,000 kills in it. If you are playing well, you should have between 30 - 40 kills a game. if you are not in that range, you are not doing it right.
and yes, the jet is the most powerful weapon in the game both offensively and defensively. It can one-pass kill a tank and I can put two missiles on it plus multiple rounds and it still gets away. it sucks, but it is the game. that is why when we get a jet whore that beats down the server, we usually perm ban them.

i hate AA campers. they don't realize how much they hurt their team. I admin killed two of them yesterday and should have admin killed two others. if your in the AA and not engaging the enemy in the field, then fuck you! you deserve to die!
sad thing is, i usually warn them first. they don't listen.
