Your appeal statement: Hi,

I was banned for disputing with another player (Zadra_Xd) during the game who was first insulting other players and posting racist terms ("Kill Jews", e.g.) and after I was texting with him, while I am also simultaneously able of playing effectively due to my old times in Dota 2, I was banned by a player named KingChingTai (after he was asking me what this Zadra had written. so I quoted ""Kill Jews", for example?"" and this was taken as if I had said it, and then was immediately banned at the beginning of the next round (Link: https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/battlereport/show/1/1856775702172689728/1003986211107)

Sadly, my only proof is from the report from KingChingTai, so I hope you have the text log of this game.

I am known for texting during the game:
- for communication,
- jokes with other players, and also
- not-so-friendly posts against harrassing or racist players as well as glitch abusing gamers.

I may not be the best player concerning k/d ratio, but I am quite successful in playing in a team/squad and assist a lot (I do it for the game and for having fun and challenges. You can check this out in my reputation on this server).
I do not know what other players may think about me, but do hope it is mostly positive since I prioritize my efforts in team playing and achieving the game objective. I have fun with most of the people I play with, even when we lose. Hope this is not one-sided.

What I find a bit sad is, when:
- someone posts racist or homophobic terms and then cannot stand when other players like me react to it, like the principle of "hand it out but can't take it". And yeah, I also get a emotionally involved if someone posts things like that just for provocation.
- the person that posts racist terms gets away with it, but I get immediately banned when I merely quote the person (Zadra_Xd) to an asking gamer (KingChingTai).

I hope that with this full and honest report I can get you to rethink your decision and unban me. My behaviour was not ideal, but I hope you also understand my point of view.

It was a 3 day temp ban. You will have to wait it out. My suggestion is less typing, more playing

I will say I've played with Wench many times on RC1 and know him to be a good and active player. Good teammate who plays the objectives.

I was in the game when Wenchful_Spirit was temp banned for racism. It doesn't matter how good or active you are as a player. When you decide to stoop and use the "N" word there is no excuse. Harmless banter is one thing, but it went way beyond that. Red is right, less typing and more playing.

The best thing about all this is the chat logs can be reviewed and if you lie, well, it`s not good for you lol.

Sadly, I also learn from the other comments that it is a red crossing to use the "N" word if someone posts racist slurs, but it is obviously not forbidden to say "Kill [this or that kind of ethnic group]" (Zadra_Xd), or even becomes dismissed as 'harmless banter' (ElChangoFeo).

Yes hector1908, I also love to see the chat logs, so everyone can see what has been written. Next time I just use the screenshots more often.

To RedKilla and ElChangoFeo: yes I will certainly try to write less, even if it means to ignore racist slurs. I just find it shocking what is to be determined as red crossing and what is not.
