Hi there,

I'd like to appeal my ban. Frankly, I'm not sure what I have been banned for. I'm assuming it is for responding to admins/(users?) that continually pose racist or Islamophobic questions such as "Has Christianity or Islam caused more damage?". Another admin(user?) continually goaded people to type "Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" to get people kicked from the server. For a server that says no racism is allowed, I've found them to be full of people who continually spout racist nonsense. I think it shows something of the beliefs of the server to have a tagline about banning racists when the admins actively are racist and empower them to spout racist nonsense. It is pretty ridiculous to have admins who actively defend racism.

I don't actually expect any action to take place on this, but I think it is worth calling out such deliberate racism on the part of AARP admins.

Could you name who you think these admin are? Im guessing you dont know who is and who is not an admin.

I'd be more than happy to pull chat logs and review them.

Also, we have an automated script that bans racist/religious slurs in chat.

In order to call it out, you have to name some names. Those could have been regular players on the server, not admins or even members for that fact. If you were banned for racial slurs, it would have to be a pretty bad word. The longest ban I've seen is for 1440 minutes. Otherwise you were likely just kicked. Did you try rejoining the server? If you are banned, what message gets displayed on Battlelog?

Great job recording no examples and presenting any proof. Most likely you are arguing with a script that kicks. There’s no need to have discussions of the words you are referring in game.

Thanks for posting the logs and then selectively editing out what I was responding to. There was a player with the name of "coochie" something who kept calling every user on the server a fag. I was responding to him after he said it about ten times. Then I responded to another user who kept posting "is Islam or Christianity worse?" Do you think I randomly said those things with zero context? Great job there pal. I was then kicked by an admin (I do not know the name as it does not say who kicked you). After rejoining the server, I was eventually kicked and banned. Both the person who continually called people fags and the Islamophobic person were not banned. I tried joining the server the next day and was automatically kicked.

You weren't kicked by a human admin. You were kicked by a script that catches players who say certain words. If you say one of the words that is put in the filter, you will be warned, kicked, or banned depending on the word. There is no enforcement on players that say fag. The "Islamophobic" was probably just trying to egg people on to get them kicked by the filter, you fell for it. The point of the filter is to keep racist comments and shit like "christianity has killed plenty over history" out of the servers, and it has apparently done its job. You don't have any names and you didn't say when or what server you're talking about. I'm surprised the admins actually dug to try to find out what the hell you're talking about.
As Red said, it's a temp ban. Wait it out, and next time keep your focus on the game and ignore those idiots.
