Hey, the "infamous" TOW Launcher guy here. I get votebanned on a regular basis because people can't believe that they're bad pilots for flying low, slow, in straight lines, or hovering in place close to the ground. I'm not even all that great at it and they still complain!
But in all seriousness. I've played on the Golmix server for quite awhile now, and met a lot of nice people there (and a lot of very angry individuals). The false votebans against me have been handled pleasantly and quickly - not every community does that well - which is a big draw, seeing people treated fairly instead of admins on Power Trips.
I've been in community and server leadership positions (on-and-off) for the last ten years or so with varying levels of success. I used to design levels for Quake 3, and the spin-off games on the same engine. I've played almost every major Battlefield game (minus Hardline, Vietnam, and Bad Company 1).
Anyways, I figured this was a more appropriate place to do this, rather than in my perpetually-active ban appeal thread, RedKilla.
