Spent two summers there. The first time I got back my young daughter didn't know who I was. Seeing how it ended makes me physically ill. If I'm more obnoxious than usual on Golmud, blame the liquor.

This isnt a political thread..keep it that wayInteresting take. Afghanistan falling?
The way I understand things is that the people of Afghanistan, or any other country, can select their leaders/government as they see fit. Do you think the US, or any other power has a right to decide for the afghan people?
Sacrificed their lives just for Afganistan to fall in the end :/
At least we were able to stall it.
Most of knew you meant nothing by it.. Dont worry about it.. My son was there as well.Sorry, saying Afghanistan "falling" was in relation to the government collapsing when the Taliban took over the Kabul this week after US troops pulled out. I didn't mean to show any political bias specifically due to that no politics rule, merely meant to reiterate from the news to accompany my remark on all the lives that were lost in the process of trying to keep this very thing from happening.
Apologies if I brought any offense or it seemed political in nature, but in hindsight I guess a country being taken over is politics in a way.
Thanking someone for their service is not a political post and the above statement is fact.
These are our forums Fluff, not yours. You seem to forget that. you always looking for a fight..well I can end it real quick. This Charlie Brown mentality you have of "why is everybody picking on me" is getting old. Grow a pair or get the fuck out.
