We are now running and evaluating a high end dedicated server machine.

Intel Xeon E-2186G (Coffee Lake 3.8ghz)

Golmud 24/7 now has a tic rate of 60hz
Hardcore has a tic rate of 60hz
Big City Battles has a tic rate of 30hz

This upgrade was in response to the strong amount donations recently. Thank you all!!!! Continued monetary support will enable us to do more. The high performance upgrade should result in smoother game play in general, less unregistered shots (dusting), lag, and perceived shots around corners.

Hope this enhances your game play as this is expensive and a PIA. lol

Best way set the ping limit 120 that will cut all the dsl services and BT telecom/Alcatel [ Europe] lag will go away.

that only 10 core cpu i have exrta 32 core 64 tread server if the the hosting service will let you install it

thanks for the offer, i wish they would allow us to get our own servers!

unfortunately, our hosting provider owns our server IP addresses. if we lose that, everyones links break.... we would have to rebuild our player base. brilliant move on their part, we call that 'entanglement'... it is too hard to move elsewhere...
