    Default New Balancer Plugin

    FYI Gents

    There is a new plugin I am testing for balancer program. After recent feedback I thought I'd give it a shot. No one has mentioned the difference yet. Feedback welcome of course.

    Played a few games yesterday and unfortunately both games still have wide margins. I think both around 1000-0. Seems Golmud is extra difficult to balance. When you do happy hour, the other maps seem balanced with close scores.

    I can't comment on the plug-in.

    I have noticed the last couple weeks to be particularly bad for players jumping teams.
    This is a huge pet peeves that is even worse when it is AARP members.

    If buckbeakplayer, cdiver, RG6V clan, mythbrutally etc get a good start to a round, other start jumping to that team. There are so many regulars around that you end up knowing who the best players.
    1200ish to 0 should not be a regular occurrence.

    It shows the selfishness in alot of vehicle operators gameplay in our clan and server. Cherrypicking a high k/d ratio but mid pack score because they are selfish. IMHO
    Obviously not everyone falls into this label.

    Very astute observation on people switching sides. I'm unable to stop people from switching for the most part when they first enter. A sizable percentage of players switch to the winning team on entering the server. Some are blocked by the auto-balance. The switch magnifies running away games. Funny thing is after watching this happen for a long time, you can see behavior like patterns in specific cultures. I have to say playing on losing teams has made me a much better player in general. Fighting against the odds the last 2 years was painful at first and now I kind of like it. Lately I have been trying less to balance games and more to just talk to platoon members.

    Oh to best fix that I’d recommend scrambling squads at the end of games but that would go over like a fart in church

    I have seen no difference in the balancing. Are you sure you changed to a new one? LOL

    The early morning crew self polices and self balances pretty well, but we are always like 4-6 on a side and the difference of once player usually swings the cap points rather quickly unless it's us vs Red or Jay, in that case it's usually putting on a clinic about how to get our asses handed to us, in those cased 6 on 2 or 10 on 2 is a fair game.. lol..

    After playing a few games during the afternoon. It does seem like the balancer is working harder or some variable is different.

    It announces upcoming balances on death and the game scores have been closer
